Resolve "default mail client is not properly installed" Thanks

Just read up on the issue and learned a good bit about why I have this problem. Came across this when I tried to send an email within a website. Looking for an answer to guide a semi-novice. Understand I need to know how to set default within windows and

browser through the Registry (???). Thank you.
