I own an HP a6703a Pavilion. Garden variety, running VISTA HOME PRE.

 

I have tried runing a chkdsk /v /f from the command line ( of course ).

 

I receive a return message which says I cannot do this that I must

 

do this in an ELEVATED LEVEL. I have no idea what this is. It doesn't

 

on my DELL 5100 Tower, running XP Home version. Help me, please.
