Long-term issue with installing Windows Security Update KB2758857

[AWS]

Been having a problem trying to install Critical Windows Security Update KB2758857 for a while now, every time my desktop tries to shut down it tries to install it but never succeeds, my antivirus/security software (BitDefender Total Security 2013) keeps

alerting my to this but even it isn't successful in downloading/installing it.
