Administrators AWS Posted January 1, 2013 Administrators Posted January 1, 2013 I have already purchased the original windows 8 pro via the upgrade assistant but unfortunately I am facing serious difficulties while downloading it, it always (except the first time which completed until 10% and then cancelled) gives the "unspecified error" so I am wondering if I can download the software through other sources using third party software such as the internet download manager and then activate it with the code but I have some questions: 1: is it legal to do so? 2: If it is where shall I download the software from without having a security risk? 3: the version of windows that I have bought the activation code for is "widows 8 provisional 64 bits" how can I choose the right file to download?
