Administrators AWS Posted January 5, 2013 Administrators Posted January 5, 2013 I downloaded windows 8 upgrade for Windows 7 yesterday. first I couldn't access some of the menu like control panel and I couldn't search under the right side options. so after reading other posts about same issue I "refreshed" windows so it would keep all my files etc just refresh software..... well when it reloaded I noticed almost all of my programs were missing and all of my music was gone and it said my music folder was no longer there and could be safely removed. when I open my music from the xbox program it is all listed but when I click to play a song I get an error message. I have no idea what to do from here.... and my last saved restore point is gone so I cant undo these changes. Also on desktop there is now an icon named removed apps??? View this thread
