I cannot install kb955704 on Windows XP Pro x64bit. When I try I get a message "updatebr.inf file is

I need to install the kb955704 update, to allow me to use an external hard drive formatted to EXFAT. However, when I attempt to run the download, the update begins to download, then I get a message, "the updatebr.inf file is invalid"..... How can I correct

this, to enable me to download kb955704? Any assistance will be appreciated.
