Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard FE (version 6.0.6002 sp2 build 6002) On attempting to search for updates in Windows Update I instantly receive an error... Windows could not search for new updates An error occurred while checking for new updates for your computer Errors found: 8024401F I have tried disabling AVG Antivirus, disabling Windows Firewall, deleting unfinished updates restarting services and trying again, restarting the server, installing the following update: Windows6.0-KB947821-v25-x64, and a number of other things recommended on forums. The last update installed automatically by Windows Update was on 9/2/12, KB2631813 Is there anything else I can try to fix this? or even another tool I can use to update my server?
