error 1067 when scanning

I have HP PC win7 and a Brother printer. Printer connection is fine and can print from PC. Unable to scan. When I check at the Control Center, Admin. Tools, Services, Windows Image Acquisition the status there is: stopped. When I touch START WIA, ERROR

1067 appears. Is there a resolution?
