Administrators AWS Posted January 14, 2013 Administrators Posted January 14, 2013 I have recently noticed that a windows installer box keeps popping up with "preparing to install" and then disappearing suddenly every five minutes or so on my laptop. I am unsure whether this is linked to my laptop installing windows updates the other day - the power ran out just before all of the relevant updates were installed. I have been to my control panel and have tried to click on the icon "windows update" however it does not come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is starting to get very annoying whilst trying to write an essay! View this thread
