Administrators AWS Posted January 15, 2013 Administrators Posted January 15, 2013 So I am having trouble with the following updates:- KB2726535- KB2758857After trying several times with the Windows Updater, which failed, I tried to download the first one from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2726535. This also failed. It wouldn´t install the update. I tried to find a download for the second one, but couldn´t find it.After this, I tried to download the System Update Readiness on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821. It looked promising, but the installation stopped near the end and stayed there for over an hour. After trying to cancel it (waiting an hour for that), it didn´t respond anymore and it was forced quit. Trying to install SUR a second time (and any time after that) resulted in an 0x80240009 error. I tried to fix this by using the System File Checker, but that tool couldn´t find anything wrong with the system. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this. My PC is running on a 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium.Thanks! View this thread
