I have a clean install from Win 8 backup disc,I am having problems with IE 10 and win backups,IE will not connect to any sites except &quotMSN for win 8&quot,Win backup will not find any backups,if I download a backup with Firefox and install with win stand alone

installer it finds the KB27771431 update and installs but does not show up when I check for installed updates.IE behaves the same on desktop and Metro.I have no problems accessing sites with Firefox.Help Please,anybody.................
