Administrators AWS Posted January 22, 2013 Administrators Posted January 22, 2013 I want to upgrade my laptop from win xp pro sp2 to win 8 pro. I have attempted to do this online and am told the upgrade is not supported. I assume thlis is because I need to get to win xp pro sp3. However, when I attempt to run Windows Update to see what updates are outstanding, I get the message that I cannot go to that web page with error 0x80240036. In other words I cannot update my xp pro beyond where it currently is, sp2. View this thread
