Administrators AWS Posted January 26, 2013 Administrators Posted January 26, 2013 Hi I'm having a problem where every time I shut my computer down, it says installing update 1 of 1 but it fails to install. My operating system is XP. I've checked replies to similar questions but nothing's worked. I found the number for the update that wouldn't install, (KB2742597) ran the fixit and then went to the Download centre to install it manually. It started to install but after a few seconds this message appeared: The feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. The path CDOCUME"IOwnerLOCALS"ITempXP000"TMPnetfix.msi" cannot be found. It offered an alternative path but that didn't work either. It's so frustrating - can you help? Thanks View this thread
