Change from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit with OEM license

I inherited my mother-in-law's Lenovo tower on which she had Windows 7 Professional 32-bit installed under an OEM license. I have the product key. I am trying to change from 32-bit to 64-bit, still keeping Windows 7 Professional. I tried using slui.exe

4, but after entering the code was told it was invalid. Ran validation tool, validated my license, ran slui.exe 4 again and still invalid. Some info says to contact Microsoft, other info says I have to order recovery disk from manufacturer Lenovo. I have

burned a WMI recovery disk. Many thanks for guidance.
