Administrators AWS Posted January 29, 2013 Administrators Posted January 29, 2013 My Windows Update won't check for any updates due to an error in which the Windows Update Service won't start. - I tried the services.msc but wasn't clear what to do. Both my BITS and Windows Update service are on Automatic (delayed start) - I tried the Microsoft Fix It, but a system error comes up. Saying "command line argument is invalid" - I did the Update Trouble Shooting but it couldn't fix two problems. (1) potential windows update database error detected (2) it says the Windows Upgrade components is broken or damaged. - I did the sfc scannow and now problems came up. - I don't know what to do now. My system is a Sony VAIO VPCF234FD. Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit operating system 6GB of ram. 2.20GHz CPU PLEASE HELP! View this thread
