I have upgraded from W7 to W8, most of the tiles fail to open the related Apps.

Hello.

 

After uprgrading to W8 I find that many of the tiles do not open anything, i.e calendar, people, mail, News, etc. Photos just takes me to a dead (grey) screen.

Maps does open ok, and IE opens but the Outlook link does not work within IE, it does however work correctly if IE is opened from Desktop.

 

The Tiles that work my old programmes (Apps) seem to operate properly, although I have not tried every one of them yet.
