Windows Update kb2750149 corrupted power options, crashing my Gateway FX-7811

After install - restart, shut down, hibernate, sleep would all cause the computer to crash, hard restart required.

All attempts to restore from any previous points failed.

Took hours of hang ups and restarts to access Windows Update history, or any other Windows Update apps, pages.

After uninstall of package all is fine again.
