Administrators AWS Posted February 5, 2013 Administrators Posted February 5, 2013 After installing KB2592687, connections to a XP box will crash. It connects perfectly fine, but right after that, it crashes hard ("Remote Desktop Connection has stopped working...") The problem has existed ever since the update was release a while ago, and it still hasn't been fixed. Microsoft, shouldn't you have addressed this problem? I know I'm not the first one to report this problem. In the mean time, I'll advice everyone to disallow this update. Without it, RDP connections work just fine anyway. @Microsoft, please fix this.
