Any recent (January '13) Critical Updates that could impact USB wired mouse?

Beginning on 29-Jan-13, my Microsoft-brand USB wired mouse has begun to misbehave after the computer wakes. Essentially, mouse behavior is erratic and uncontrollable unless I pull and re-insert the USB connection.

 

Could this be caused by any critical updates installed on or around 29-Jan-13?
