Administrators AWS Posted February 9, 2013 Administrators Posted February 9, 2013 Since November I have had an 'Important' Update stuck in the queue. after checking its the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2761465) that seems to be causing the problems. Every time I switch off the P.C it informs me that it is preforming 1 of 1 updates which I leave to run. but it is still trying up to 24hrs later. I have tried updating manually through the control panel but that also fails. I have followed the advice in the FixIt box and searched the problem on the net and tried lots of fixes but nothing is working. Very frustrating as I dont even use IE9 and have to essentially crash my PC every time I need to turn it off. Any help would be great. View this thread
