Red X in box where picture is suppose to be?

My problem is that when I receive an email with pictures and then try to forward it to someone else with the pics, I receive a notice that says some of the pics will not be sent and when I look at the Sent mail, it shows a

box with a Red X in the upper left hand corner. Sometimes it puts the pics up in the upper left hand corner of the email and has a comment like View album or something like that.

Is there a setting that needs to be made to enable me to do that?
