why is my win8 getting repeated updates of kb2811522

Every tine the auto update service checks for &quotnew updates&quot, it downloads and installs &quotKB2811522&quot. This has repeated for several days. I understand it has something to do with updated Flash Player on IE-10 for Win8 (??). Interestingly, I was unable to

update the Flash player from 11.3.377.15 to the latest recommended by Adobe for Win8 - version 11.6.602.167. The computer &quotrefused to install&quot as a &quotstand alone&quot installation (??).
