Administrators AWS Posted February 18, 2013 Administrators Posted February 18, 2013 I installed 2 updates for Windows 7 that were automatic last week and after the computer restarted, whenever I click on a Word document, it says, installing software, wait a few minutes and then an error message comes up saying that there was a fatal error during installation. I have the original word software and when I insert that I receive a message stating that there was a problem, looking for a solution and then it closes as it says there is no solution. Please help! I don't know what the 2 latest updates were for as my computer is set to search for updates automatically daily. Prior to that, the week before, it installed either 12 or 14 updates. All my Microsoft Word documents are still there with their own icon, but I can't open or make any new documents. Please help! View this thread
