How do i uninstall windows HOT fix KB891781

HOT fix KB891781 is screwing up my html editor (Homesite 4.5.2). I

understand the risks of removing this, but I want it GONE. I did a search on

my pc and couldn't find it. I know how to remove it in Windows XP, but I

couldn't find the uninstall file. I couldn't find it in the Control Panel

either.

You likely removed the log files/uninstall information.

Download the update and use the /uninstall command line...

This is a brand new Dell. I just got it a couple of days ago. I haven't

removed anything. I barely got all the programs I use installed. However,

there's a default setting for automatic updates and it downloaded this 'fix'

before I had a chance to turn automatic updates off and set up Custom updates

at the web site.

Have you tried System Restore?

So - did you uninstall it yet?

Download it from the link (the install file for it) and use the /uninstall

switch to uninstall it from your computer.

Worst case - download it, install it, then uninstall it.

Windows version?

How have you determined that 891781 (which is critical security update

MS05-013 and may have been superseded by a more recent update) is the cause

of your problem or that it's even installed?

There is also another Hotfix, but it doesn't appear to be aimed at the

issue you posted:
