Lap top stopped working, will not re-boot. Stops after BIOS and then black screen

Process

When I start up the computer it stopps after BIOS session and just give me blank black screen, with a marker in the left upper conner.

As I don't have any recovery CD I can't do anything (software installed when I bougth the PC without any CD included).

 

I have a correct an legual software (and id number is on the computer), but I cant find anywhere to download to a recovery disk (CD)?!

 

Very frustrating!
