Administrators AWS Posted February 20, 2013 Administrators Posted February 20, 2013 Hi I purchased windows 7 professional and received an OEM disk from DELL I have vista home premium on an HP, what are my chances of doing this upgrade. I inserted the CD and I got the following error message "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are running" I have tried to do it from a download on the computer and still the same. I also have an issue with the product key as the little cut out with the key was damages and some numbers where not legible. but up to now that has not been an issue as I have not got that far but I want to be ready Chris View the thread Quote
