Ok, I am running windows xp media center version. I was trying to do automatic updates. When I downloaded it it retuned an error code of 0x80070424. I ran the fix it and it sad that windows updat components must be repaired. I wasn't able to send the results

because when I typed the letters in the security it said it wasn't right. When I ran the regular total fix it that I downloaded it says "can't download trouble shooters. Please check the internet connection and retry. I did and I am connected! Now I downloaded

windows defender and it can't update because of the same error. What do I do next? I would appreciate any help that I can get.
