I have a PC with Win 7 Home premium 64 bit with printer via USB and router via ethernet, We have a laptop running Win 8 and have difficulty setting up a Homegroup or enabling printing from laptop to printer. Is it possible at all? It doesn't seem like

an unusual combination, so why is so fiddly to set up?
