Administrators AWS Posted February 21, 2013 Administrators Posted February 21, 2013 After the updates released on Feb 12, I had 2 computers dead - they would not restart. One was Windows XP and I got it back by selecting "last known working configuration" which was before the windows updates. My other computer is a 1 yr old laptop with Windows 7. I had to do a system Restore to get it back working. I have turned off automatic windows updates on both computers now. I am hesistant to install anymore updates. Is there a known problem with the updates that were just released this month? How can i keep my computers up-to-date without going through this restoring again? View this thread
