Will updates still be downloaded an installed, when my Win8 machine is asleep?

I have a new Windows 8 laptop. It is setup to go to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity. It is also setup to download and install Windows updates at 3 AM. I'd like to know if it will still download and install those updates, even if it is asleep?
