Just found that update KB2538242 has been installing every night for thirty days and is stuck at shu

IE8, Windows 7. 1 of 1 updates stuck on shutdown, and just found that this update, KB2538242 is installing every night for over thirty days! How can I unstick this update and stop the upodating?
