I have problem with windows 8, the print command on all programs does not work and makes the program

I have this problem with recently installed Windows 8.

The print command on all programs does not work.

The moment i choose print or print preview command the program hangs.

Initially it was working OK but with a few updates this problem would occur and with new update it will dissappear automatically.

But now for last ten days the print command is not working.

In a database access program i cannot even go to a form where the command button will print reports on the screen.

All other pages I can navigate but for the report page.

Hoe can I solve the problem?

I have tried to shut all programs on startup but the problem remains the same.

Please help.
