Office 2003 security updates will not install.

Seven security updates for Office 2003 or specific Office 2003 apps will not install. Error Message: "The update cannot be applied." Includes KB2687403, KB2687481, KB2760574, KB2760497, KB2687626, KB2767887, KB2726929.

 

1) Ran Fix It several times. Fix It concludes with: "WINDOWS UPDATE COMPONENTS MUST BE REPAIRED--FIXED (WITH A CHECK MARK).

2) Reinstalled WindowsUpdateAgent.

3) Tried manual install, one update at a time.

4) Shut Automatic Updates off and then turned it back on.

 

Files still will not not install.

 

Windows XP Home Edition, SP3.
