Administrators AWS Posted February 27, 2013 Administrators Posted February 27, 2013 Hello Everyone, So today, when I turned on my PC. It came up with a black backround, with most of my shortcuts missing. A minute later a message popped up saying I was unable to connect my administritive shares. I restarted my computer, and everything was back to normal again. Also, it happened after I got a Windows Update, if that is the cause of the problem. It was the first time this happened to me too. Can someone explain to me why this happened? EDIT: Looking through the Update History, the update which was installed after that happened was "Platform Update for Windows 7 x64-Edition (KB2670838).
