IE 9 X64- Win 7, is installed but Updates show as Code 9C48 "failed: Fixit doesn;t work - repeat - I

IE 9 X64- Win 7 X64. is installed but Updates show as Code 9C48 "failed: Fixit doesnt work - repeat - IE 9 is installed". I am actually trying to upgrade to Internet Explore X 64 v. 10 --- but fails due to false Code 9C48 on IE 9 X64. Details as follows

FYI - Had a major glitch installing SP1 and IE 9 last year, Finally fixed in Dec 12-. Fixit erradicated all Update history to make the fix. All updates are installed.
