Yep, it was far cheaper to get an HP laptop with the Adobe CS4 suite via an educational package than to get a new Mac laptop so I did. 18 year Mac veteran (I'm an art director) but now also using Vista. So far, I love it. Best advice I've had... disable auto-updates from Microsoft.. Vista for Dummies is awesome (as is AskWoody.com, the author) I've had zero problems. Best thing about Vista (working in Windows) for me so far? The free apps like FileZilla that work 100% perfectly and provide what I need instead of having to buy numerous small apps. Hello everyone

My pc CPU Type: Intel Q9450 HDD Capacity: 500 GB Memory : 4GB DDR2 800 Mainboard: Asus P5N-D Video Card: Nvidia 9800GTX + 512M Case: Antec Nine Hundred Power Supply: ATX 600W It does not come with a OS, i have both XP and Vista installation discs. I will be doing regular thigns like word processing, surfing, editing of videos and music and mostly gaming. Which OS is right for this pc? (and if its vista, do i go with 64 or 32 bit?) Thanks

Hello people Nice to join your group.I have been having mulitiple problems with my 2 gateway desktops with vista home premium.The first I had no ability to do shadow copys(back ups)I mean no back ups at all.I called gateway and they told me it was beyond there scope!!My media center in first computer froze up every time I ventured a step in.So on to second p.c have had problems with MP telemetry?Dont know why and aol is messing with me constantly and many minor little bugs.My question is this .In my problems and reports program they said I have solutions to some of my issues the first solution is the compatability issue with amt interface driver and vista (get new driv…
