    Trying to set up a new Windows 8 Pro PC to be used as Windows Azure &quotworkhorse&quot, managing our services. Downloading WebMatrix from Azure, losing my nerves as depending on the time of the day the DL speed varies between 5 KBps and 20 KBps. I have now interrupted the download and installation process a few times because the policy is we do not leave computers on working unsupervised when going home, and I have no interest in spending my night waiting the download to finish. This PC has its own dedicated 50 down 20 up line, all other services working fast as they should. It is only this WebMatrix installation that has decided to spoil my week. Any ideas? …

    No Dual Boot Option After Installing Windows 8 with Windows 7

    I have a system that already has Windows 7 installed. I added a second hard drive just for Windows 8. I installed Windows 8 on the second drive with no problems. I do not get the option to dual boot though. I have to chose the drive that I want to boot from within the bios boot option. I press F8 and select the drive. This is a ASUS Rampage iv Extreme board with UEFI. I want to be presented with a Windows 8 boot option without having to press F8 and selecting the drive to boot from. What am I missing? Thanks!     Windows 8 Login is Broke after Server 2012 connector install

    Hello, I tried installing server 2012 on my my home network and it changed my Windows 8 Home computer to be part of a domain. I changed it back to a homegroup and have uninstalled the Server convector and server 2012. Server 2012 is a bad idea for a home server. I have ran WHS for about 4yrs now and it was a great product unfortunately I cannot say the same about server 2012 for home usage. The problem I have now I I cannot get my standard windows 8 Login to show. I have changes back to a workgroup and have Changed windows 8 to a local account then back to an MSN account.     When you try to open a OneNote file from an Office365 team site while in Windows 8 (x64) and using OneNote 2010 the notebook will not synchronize. It gives error code 0xE4010640. I have verified this countless times now across multiple pc's. It will work perfect fine if you open the file using Windows 7 with OneNote 2010 as well as if you use Windows 8 and OneNote 2013. It only fails to synch with Windows 8 and OneNote 2010. I would have been fine with the Windows 8 / OneNote 2013 solution but Outlook 2013 has serious IMAP issues so I had to go back to Office 2010.
