I have older pictures stored on a disc in a jpeg file format. Hello, I am currently updating in Windows 8 but after while trying to activate my Windows 8, I am seeing an error which is mention below. "Windows couldn't be activated Go to Control Panel to learn other ways to activate. Error code: 0x8007007B Error description: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." As per title, the user accounts in the computer do not appear. We are using Windows 8 and the computer has 2 accounts, my dad's and mine. The last logged on account would automatically be the account on startup, and it's too much hassle to sign out of the other then sign in to the other. I've tried the solution . It worked after the restart but when I rechecked the registry, on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\UserSwitch, the Enabled reverted back to 0 but there were no changes on the task scheduler. I restarted it and there you go, no user accounts again. Changed it again to 1 and restart, and it worked again. However,…
