Hello,I had this problem in another thread, it was solved by itself after a long while, but now I have the same problem again.I noticed in the router events that my Windows 11 24H2 PC/Laptop tries to contact an IP address, randomly e.g. after booting or during normal usage, and this problem occured after I mistakenly clicked/visited a certain website (with VPN connection). My router blocks such strange IP addresses because I have set it to do so. As I said, the problem occured after I had visited this one dubious website just once and now it persists. The IP address is 178.236.186.2, the detailView the full article

I run two accounts on this system, both are using a Microsoft account login, with a PIN to unlock. There are no fingerprint readers, or any other login security devices (such as a card reader, etc), nor am I using any other Windows hello features, other than a PIN.This is happening with two different systems that access the same two accounts. One desktop running Windows 11 Pro (currently 23H2) and a laptop running Windows 11 Home 24H2.This also doesn't happen every time or with any expected reason. But typically, I will choose to switch user (not sign out) and when the login pops up, you geView the full article

After factory resetting my device multiple times I’m lost to what the issue is all I know is the BSV says it’s connected to my ntoskrnl.exe. I’ve removed all my ram sticks and put them in one at a time and they all work I’ve also reset my bios to factory settings along with updating my drivers. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.https://onedrive.live.com/embed?id=FB8FDF57CF5B2BF7!s35c048ae790f46View the full article

My screen flashes and doesn't stay stable when i turn on HDR
Windows 11 posted a topic in Windows 11
I recently purchased a Display Port cable, version 1.4, so I could use the G-Sync feature on my monitor, an LG Ultra Gear, which worked great. The problem now is HDR. When I turn it on in Settings, my screen starts flickering and keeps doing it indefinitely. I think it might be the cable, but I don't want to believe it because I just bought it. Could it be something else, or is my cable really doomed?P.s.: The HDR option worked fine on my old HDMI cable. Here it is the problem: https://streamable.com/tgm4c8View the full article -
Hi. Have had this Dell desktop for approx 1 month now. Windows 11. Been quite an adventure with all of the stuff Dell, Microsoft, and all the others want to connect you with, have you join, etc.I just noticed that there has been daily unsuccessful log-ins to my Microsoft account only since I got this computer. From all over the world. What the heck is going on?! Why now? How come? Will my Microsoft account eventually get hacked? Will they get into my computer? This is VERY concerning. Thanks to anyone who has some advice.View the full article

Issues after restoring the notebook to its factory settings.
Windows 11 posted a topic in Windows 11
Greetings, Microsoft community. Recently I had to restore my notebook to its factory settings deleting everything and rendering it brand new (it entered an "error-and-restart loop" state and after trying every option available that was the only solution). Ever since then I'm experiencing a couple of issues that have never been there before. - The start sound and the login screen are now not synced. Before the restoration both of them happened at the same time, now the login screen appears seconds after the start sound. This in particular doesn't happen when I do a clean start (deactivating nonView the full article -
Hi everyoneEver since I upgraded my GPU from an RTX 3060 to a Radeon RX 7800 XT, I have been getting a lot of ntoskrnl.exe crashes, resulting in an immediate black screen followed by automatic restart. I get this error "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA ntoskrnl.exe+414c00", pretty much only when playing Destiny 2, at random intervals, sometimes after 2 hours, other times minutes after starting the game. I have also recently been getting this error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ntoskrnl.exe+414c00", when I have no games running, but just a browser and other non hardware heavy apps running.I have searched View the full article

Hi there,I would appreciate some help here please. It's very frustrating not to be able to perform a clean install of Windows 11, when the System meets all the requirements. I have followed the steps advised here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsinsider/cleaninstall - however after getting past the 'Install Now' option, having set the language etc. I get a page come up which says, "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows system requirements" We checked all the requirements and it should work. The only thing I can think of is that it is trying to install Windows 11 Professional (tView the full article

So far there have been no answers to this question I have found. Kindly help me get rid of the Emoji option from the Right-Click context menu. I do professional work on my computer and production typing. I will never use emoji EVER! It is in my way and makes options like Paste and Spellcheck even harder to find for those of us who touch-type, rely on muscle memory and do production work at high speed (100+wpm typing). Please help.View the full article

Hi.I have had this issue where the volume level of my web browser resets everytime it's reopened. At first, I thought it was a problem with brave, as I only started using it, but then I realized it was happening with all web browsers. Tested today with brave and edge, and both are resetting everytime they are opened. The issue: when I go watch or listen to anything on a web browser, I open windows volume mixer and set it to 50% or so. While the app is still open, it keeps it's volume level, but as soon as I close it and open it up again sometime later, the volume goes back to 100%, so I have to View the full article

No issues with my smart card reader prior to this update (2025-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5051989)) and I haven't been able to log into my DOD email ever since because of my cac reader not working. Appreciate any suggestions to get it working again. How can I remove those changes that were implemented during that Feb 11 2025 update? I've referred to this forum but no success https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-security-smart-card-popup/6f323b47-f049-41c3-8d43-8b6a43f5dfe7#windows. Bluetooth randomly disappears from the taskbar and settings, showing "No Bluetooth devices found on this PC." Restarting doesn’t help, but a cold shutdown temporarily fixes it.Troubleshooting Tried:Reinstalled drivers from Asus (didn’t work).Multiple restarts (no effect).Cold shutdown (only temporary fix).Possible Cause: Suspect Windows 11 issue, as two friends had similar problems with Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth.Questions:Is this a known Windows 11 bug affecting Bluetooth/Wi-Fi?Any official fixes or workarounds? How to fix this permanently without cold shutdowns?Any help would be appreciated!View the full article

Os arquivos disponíveis localmente permanecerão neste disposView the full article
