I've had this problem on two laptops. Both are fairly new. The oldest is a Lenovo E14 and it was purchased new from Lenovo maybe 3 years or so ago. The newest one is a Dell Inspiron 16 5640 which I purchased a few weeks ago. What happens is I connect a Bluetooth mouse and it works for a short time. It could work for a few months, a few weeks, a few days, or even a few minutes, and then it stops working. I have to Remove the device and add it again. It works and then it stops again. My MSI Thin laptop occasionally boots to the BIOS after start up. It happened today but the last time it happened was months ago but it has occurred since I bought it. Any ideas or could it just be a quirk of the laptop?I have a USB hub plugged in and I note the default BIOS setting is to boot from USB then Windows. There are 2 different Universal print ready Canon printers that are added to Universal Print for testing in our office. We have been able to use them a month ago without any problems, but now print jobs are getting failed on 3 different laptops with different users. Im not sure if images will show up since they say failed to upload constantly but basically, i recently updated to all the new windows 24h2 stuff, and I normally browse task manager pretty often to make sure nothing weird's going but this caught my eye. In task manager i have all the options selected so i can see name, publisher, process name, and commandline. System: HP Pavilion Pro 14"Windows 11 ProSince the fingerprint option only works 1/2 the time, I wanted to set up Windows Hello facial recognition. Going through set up, it recognizes a camera (doesn't say which one). However, the image set up screen is totally blurry - as if a black cloth was covering the lens - and therefore it fails to capture an image and won't complete the set up. My EPSON ET-4850 printer no longer recognizes my Lenovo laptop as a recipient device for scanning (the laptop is less than three months old-as of 3/10/25). The printer recognizes my laptop, but the scanner does not. What settings should I adjust to fix this? I've turned the scanner off and on a few times. My son has a laptop which he uses mostly for school and a gamer PC which - you wouldn't expect it - he doesn't use for school. I want to set separate screen time limits for both devices but somehow Microsoft Family Safety does not allow for this. I've found various threads saying that I can select the devices separately and then delete one of the devices but no matter what I've tried, no luck. I don't want to remove my son from the Family Safety group as suggested in some places as that would defeat the purpose of the exercise. I see several posts that are months old, dating back to June of last year. I've been using OneDrive since 2019, and this issue just happened to me yesterday. I can hardly function this way. I have two clients that use OneDrive, at the moment it is only affecting one. I unlinked and re-downloaded and nothing has changed. The folder I need is not even showing up in the "choose folders" anymore. I cannot afford to continually have to download, send, upload, save, etc. again and again on files. Yet more microphone/headset problems with Windows 11. Why does Windows periodically forget my Headphones have a microphone yet Macs and phones don't? Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh ANC 2s. Windows installed two updates on 3/9/25 and now over 475 GB (ALL of my disc space) is consumed! How can this problem be corrected? My camera says it is blocked or switched off by a button. Nothing is blocking the camera and I cannot locate a "camera" button to switch back on. In the settings tool, "use systems settings" is clicked on. In the "Privacy & security > Camera" setting, the toggle button is clicked "on" to "choose which apps can access your camera". I opened my email app to a Microsoft email telling me that my account was gonna be deleted, before I could think clearly I clicked the help links and etc in-order to try and resolve my case.
