Comcast is our internet provider and recently changed its email server to
smartzone. We cannot retreive email as the folloeing message occurs " serv 32
casued an invalid page fault in modulemsncrt.dill at 017f:7800c9d3. We did
not have this problem until the server downladed the email program.
Solutions? is this incompatability with windows 98?

"modulemsncrt" is not a valid Windows DLL (let alone a known dill pickle).
Either carefully repost the verbatim error message or contact Comcast
Support.

Can you access your email account via the web-mail page after logging in at
https://login.comcast.net/ ??

I confirm there is no dill pickle exactly like that in a normal Win98SE,
IE6 SP1, fully Windows Updated machine. Could he mean this
instead...?...

All right. But it tasted just about right to me & had a crunch! AOL once
had a problem like that too, & the solution was to contact them...

Due to the many typographical errors in your post, it is difficult to tell what your
error really is. It *appears* that your error may be:
serv32 caused an invalid page fault in module msvcrt.dll at 017f:7800c9d3
Please verify what your exact error message states, typing more carefully this time.

I suggest you contact Comcast regarding the compatibility between the Smartzone
Communications Center and Windows 98. I would not be surprised if they were not
compatible.
http://www.comcast.com/ces/smartzone.aspx

Your error message may or may not have anything to do with Smartzone. If the file
causing the error is in fact "serv32.exe", you may have a trojan or other malware
installed on your system:
Coyshader Runtime serv32.exe
