Has anyone heard of a computer brand called notebook?

I have a friend who bought a used laptop computer by the name of
"Notebook"-yes I`m serious, thar`s the name. She does not have a good
battery in it and on the battery compartment it says
NIMH Battery Pack, Model #1002, DC 12V 3800 mAH. Where could she find
a battery like that and what would it cost?

The second link is for "Other" laptop batteries. You enter
Voltage/current and they send a quote. This company can "refurbish"
batteries by exchanging the old cells for new ones. Typical price ~$60.
