OT: suggestions for Helpdesk and Inventory Tracking software

Sorry in advance, this is way off topic...

What does your company use for Helpdesk and Inventory Tracking software?
Do you recommend it?

This is a fairly small company, so they don't want "top shelf". Can't
justify the cost. I've used Trackit, but that would be too expensive for
this company. They have roughly 70 users and 60 Desktops and Laptops
(combined).

Thanks

Is this freeware or trial?

I agree - Spiceworks should work fine. You can use the free version or if
you want more options (and you do not want ads) you can sign up for the
monthly subscription. Easy to setup and easy to use.
