RPC over HTTP Disconnects

Hello Experts,
We are running Ex2003 w/RPC over HTTP setup. Clients running
XP/Outlook 2003 have no problems but recently got Vista/Outlook 2003 that is
giving problems. When we open Outlook, it will prompt us for
username/password twice. The 2nd time we get connected. Then a few minutes
later it disconnects and prompts for password again. It happens randomly and
often. Other XP clients on same network do not have this problem so it is
not a connection problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

On the Vista machine are you running Office XP or Office 2003?
Why I ask is because Office XP's Outlook has that problem with Vista that
you are describing, losing passwords.

I pretty much live by way of Outlook over RPC these days. No problems with
Vista disconnecting me. Though I don't run the windows firewall or defender
either.

I am running Office 2003 SP2. User still has to login twice and it will
still prompt for password again a few minutes later.
