Every ng seems to have an a*shole like you. One who contributes nothing
but lies and FUD.
A person who doesn't even have the product installed (like you) yet
actively campaigns against it (a sign of a really stupid person!) and
pushes another product that he basically knows nothing about.
Like you.
You must have reached some really strange rationalization to justify
your existence in this ng and that alone speaks volumes about your

But this zit that refuses to go away no matter how much acne medication

Before you know it, MS is nothing but a acne ridden, gangly teenaged

And, in your arrogant opinion, people who use Linux are the scum of the
earth and those who use Vista walk on water, right?

Everyone know that you think that anyone that uses Linux instead of
Vista is a "genuine" (as opposed to "pirated"?) fool.

Can you say "cookies" when you visit any web site? Can you say
"gathering information on computer users" for marketing information?
Try real hard...as it may be difficult for a person of your sub-intellect.
Oh, and God will forgive you, if you ask, or just burn your stupid ass

Your choice.

God you are stupid. How do you think anyone knows if you have Win95 or Win98
or WinXP or Apple or anything else.
You really know nothing about computers do you? You have no knowledge of
how things work outside your little world.

W

...winston

The only real valid statistic for Vista vs Linux is in the desktop market. Linux last I looked held about 4-5% of the market, hardly enough to substantiate significant market penetration or user perception(in the U.S those numbers are even lower). The remaining 95-96% of desktop usage obviously is dedicated by multiple percentages(greater than Linux) to Msft, Apple, and any remaining yet relatively unknown or rarely used fringe o/s.

Anything beyond the confines of the above comparison when applicable to this forum(Vista) would seem to be opinion and not fact.

It would be easy to spout that Linux has made significant inroads in the server market and most would be true at the expense of Msft, though that would not be a Vista vs Linux but a Windows2003 server vs Linux comparison. Recent short term comparisions of those two products(IDC) indicate at least for the first quarter of 2007 year over year growth that Msft revenue grew faster than Linux(10.4 vs 10%) with Windows accounting for ~39% and Linux for ~13% of all server revenue. Once again, none of this is applicable to a Vista vs Linux comparison.

Lies, no...statistics, yes.... that you should easily be capable of finding on your own.

Actually Linux has less than 1% of the market, and is a ZIT on

Yeah man. Vista is a "remake of NT" - which is only 15 years old.
Linux OTOH is the "OS of the 21st century" because it's a remake of a
remake of a remake of a remake of a 40 year old OS.
