DirectX Keylogger

I wanted to test antikeylogger programs so I wrote my own key logger.. But
instead of hooking the keyboard input API (which everyone does) I had it use
direct to take the user keys.... None of these programs caught it!

What do you guys say in reference to this?

Smart hack.

Some of the programs look at software signatures (antivirii) - they
generally cannot detect any custom-written keylogger.

Some analyse API hooks. But I think Direct X approach is quite new.
