After todays server 2012 update, tiworker.exe is consuming almost 100% disk usage.

We restarted our 2012 server today to let it install updates. Afterwards, the console is so slow it is almost unusable. We can see that tiworker.exe is using almost 100% disc utilization. This has been running for 3 hours. Anyone else having similar problems. How can we get around this, or will it eventually stop?
