How to fix MS13-002: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft XML Core Services Could Allow Remote Code Execution (2756145) in window server 2012.
We have installed required patches in the server however after re scanning of the server using VA tool we are getting same vulnerability.
would be great if someone provide workaround for the same.
We installed KB2758694 patch in the server & below are the output getting from VA tool.
KB :
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office11\Msxml5.dll has not been patched.
Remote version : 5.20.1072.0
Should be : 5.20.1099.0
As per our understanding and verified in the system files Msxml5.dll has version 5.20.1072.0 however our concern how to upgrade to Msxml5.dll 5.20.1099.0
