windows 7 upgrade advisior

hey,


whenever i try to run Windows 7 upgrade advisor i always get this error :

Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor was unable to reach the Microsoft server for compatibility information. Check you internet connection

i have tried various method given by this community like:


1. turning on/off my proxy setting


2. boot clean up.


3. turning off all my security features


yet to no avail , it always gives the same error , can anyone help me??


i'm using windows XP SP3 , win 7 upgrade advisior v 2.0.5002.0
