Windows Baseline Security Analyzer

Hello forum!

I am new comer to the IT field and Server Administration. I came a cross this practice lab where I need to download and install Windows Baseline Security Analyzer. It looks like a very useful tool but I couldn't help but to notice that it was last updated back in 2009, which begs the question; is it still widely used?
